Life is important for all of us. We all want to make our lives easy and comfortable. Now we live in an age of modern technology. Technologies are making our daily life easy. When we talk about those technologies at first comes computer. Computer is a device which we use daily in our life and activities. Now it's become more advanced and easy to use device. Only a single device computer is not 100% able to make our life easy and comfortable. There are some devices which helps computer. We called those devices input and output devices. The devices which we use to input data to computer we called those input device, and the devices which we use to receive output or data are called output devices.
Let's talked about some input devices. Keyboard and mouse are the most common input devices. There are also some devices like microphone, scanner, joystick etc are the input devices. Web cam also a very popular input device. Almost all the companies give a built in webcam in laptops. But in case of desktop we need to attach a webcam manually.

Though input is important output is also very important. Because we computer for getting output. Some popular output devices are monitor, printer, speaker, headphones, plotter etc.

Those all devices work by following a system. They receive commands from users and then produces results. For input devices at first user commands to do something like, pressing the button "K" on keyboard means it will show "k" on the monitor. So, when a user press the button "K" CPU receives command and then it turns that command to digital language which the computer follows actually. Then it shows "K" on the screen, which is the output of that command. This process is applicable for all input and output devices that I mentioned before just the types are different. Like in this example we used keyboard as a input devices and monitor as a output devices.
Let's talk about a different example of input and output. When one user call someone by using skype, then the webcam and microphone both uses as input devices. They all follows the same procedure.
Input and output makes a computer fulfill because computer is nothing without input and output. Digital language is the only way to communicate with computer.
Computer was first invented between 1833 to 1871 by Charles Babbage. That time when computer was first invented it was a big device. A big place was needed to put a computer. But now the technology changed the world of computer. Technology made computer as easy as carrying it in pocket. Now world using laptops which is smaller than a desktop and easy to carry. Laptop is a computer which looks like a book sometimes it's called notebook. There are also some super computers like- IBM Roadrunner, The cray-1, Sunway Taihulight etc. But they are not comfortable to use at all.
Not only desktop or laptop there are also some devices which works as a computer such as- handheld(mobile phones), tablet pc, netbook, etc.
Handhelds are the most popular and widely used computer. Sometimes they called smartphones. It's not actually looks like a computer but it works like a computer. We can call other person through it that means we can also use it as a mobile phones. It's size is so small that one can carry it in pocket easily. There are many company of smartphones in the world like- Samsung, Huawei, Sony, Apple etc.
Tablet pc is also a device which we can easily compare with computer. Because it's screen is little bit big as a smartphone but very comfortable to use. I pad is famous than all other tablets. Samsung, Sony, Lenovo etc companies makes tablet pc. We can use it in different purposes like -reading, drawing, office works etc. We can also use stylus on tablets. So, it's create difference from smartphones of computers.
Netbook is also a very famous device. It looks like laptop but it's not a laptop at all. It's smaller than a laptop and also physically different form a laptop. It has a camera on front like laptops and also got a rear camera like smart phones. So, physically it's different from other devices.
Technology is developing day by day.And it's making devices like computers smaller than before. Super computer came first but day by day it become smaller. Now we can use those smart devices like those I mentioned before. And now they can just adjust in our hand we don't need to rent a house for that.
